Oral Architecture
I am tending toward a special relationship between building and speech: as though, were I to speak in a particular way, buildings would come out of my mouth with the facility of speech, a voice from within me speaks, producing extempore structures. The language I am trying to articulate -while envisioning nonexistent buildings- temporarily lends matter to something problematic. I describe construction dreams, I would like to transform the nonexistent material of the buildings into formulatable sentences. The drawings included in this volume were supposed to be fundamental phonemes of a virtual oral idiom.
